Tap Payments is seeking a SysOps Engineer focused on automation and platform operations in Bahrain. This on-site role sits within the Technology Team, driving automation for provisioning, backups, DR, and monitoring across hybrid environments.

You will implement scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python), develop reproducible configurations, and contribute to runbooks while collaborating with DevOps to standardize infrastructure and ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in Systems Operations, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Operations, or a similar role.
• Strong experience with Linux and/or Windows server administration.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management, system provisioning, and infrastructure automation tools.
• Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, failover, and business continuity processes.
• Experience integrating automation with monitoring and alerting platforms.
• Strong understanding of server lifecycle management and operational best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work across technical teams.
• Experience working within hybrid, on-premises, cloud, or multi-cloud environments is preferred.

Responsabilités

As a Tapster you will:
