Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay is seeking a hands-on Stewarding Supervisor to lead daily stewarding operations, ensuring top cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across kitchens and back-of-house areas.

The role collaborates closely with Culinary, F&B, Banquets, and Engineering teams to support operations during busy periods and events, while coaching staff to uphold Four Seasons standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, restaurant, or Food & Beverage stewarding operations.
• Knowledge of stewarding operations, cleaning and food safety.
• Ability to operate and maintain dishwashing and cleaning equipment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily Stewarding operation and ensure smooth operations during the shift.
• Allocate staff and organize daily work assignments according to business levels and priorities.
• Ensure all kitchens, outlets, dishwashing areas, stores, and back-of-house areas meet cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Monitor cleaning and sanitizing of china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of dishwashing machines and floor-cleaning equipment.
• Monitor chemical usage, storage, labeling, and safe handling per safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and address cleanliness, hygiene, safety or operational issues.
• Follow up on deep-cleaning activities and ensure completion within timeframes.
• Monitor equipment to minimize breakage and waste; assist with inventory control.
• Coordinate with Culinary, F&B, Banquets, Engineering and other departments as needed.
• Provide clean equipment and supplies for all operations; report maintenance issues promptly.
• Train and motivate Stewarding staff to maintain high performance standards.
• Monitor attendance and grooming; provide feedback and escalate concerns as required.
