Job summary

Mazad B.S.C (C) “Mazad” is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and build scalable software across web and mobile products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement robust architectures, and guide junior developers while ensuring security and performance.

The role requires strong experience in PostgreSQL, NoSQL, AWS, and CI/CD, with a focus on high-quality, maintainable code and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of hands-on full stack experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL and familiar with at least one NoSQL DB.
• Proficient in distributed system design and messaging middleware principles.
• Proficient in AWS services (EC2, Cognito, S3, CloudFront, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS).
• Proficient in TDD and clean architecture.
• Proficient in CI/CD.
• Capable to cope with stress and quickly learn new knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Write robust, highly reusable, well-tested code.
• Project management and participating in daily Scrum meetings.
• Lead development and implementation of Mazad digital products (apps, websites, integrations).
• Design and implement complex software architectures for scalability.
• Write high-quality code across frontend and backend technologies.

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks for optimal UX.

Mazad B.S.C (C) “Mazad” was established on April 2017 to organize and supervise auctions in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Mazad was established with the responsibility of managing and organizing auctions of different types of assets in collaboration with internationally renowned auction houses.With an unwavering commitment to its core values of transparency, fairness, competitiveness and sustainability, Mazad strives to introduce new and innovative asset sale and auction mechanisms to aid the Kingdom’s market growth and revenue optimization.Since its establishment Mazad has successfully introduced special vehicle license plate numbers for sale in public auctions for the first time in Bahrain, and has continued to do so with great success. Job Description

Write robust, highly reusable, well-tested code.

Project management and participating in the daily Scrum meetings.

Leading the development and implementation of Mazad digitalproducts, including but not limited to mobile applications, websites,integrations, etc.

Design and implement complex software architectures to meet businessrequirements and scalability needs.

Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code across frontendand backend technologies.

Provide guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to junior teammembers, upholding coding standards.

Possess proficiency in frontend and backend technologies, databases,APIs, and frameworks.

Analyze and resolve technical challenges, debug issues, and proposeeffective solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers,designers, and QA engineers.

Identify and address performance bottlenecks in applications toensure optimal user experience.

Implement security measures and adhere to data protectionregulations for user information safety.

Take ownership of codebase health, refactor code, and improve codequality over time.

Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and bestpractices to suggest innovative solutions.

Participate in project planning, task estimation, and meet projectdeadlines effectively.

Create and maintain technical documentation for code, architecture,and processes.

Collaborate with QA engineers for comprehensive testing and ensurehigh product quality.

Manage deployment pipelines, monitor systems, and work with DevOpsteams for smooth releases.

Investigate and resolve production issues promptly to maintainsystem uptime.

Requirements
