Job summary

Mazad, Bahrain's leading auction platform, seeks a talented UX Designer to shape user journeys for web and mobile apps. You will translate research into intuitive interfaces, maintain Mazad's design system, and collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements.

You will lead user research, wireframes, prototypes, and accessibility best practices, ensuring a consistent, delightful experience across all digital touchpoints while mentoring junior designers.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Figma.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping.
• Strong responsive and mobile-first design skills.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Understanding of HTML, CSS and front-end capabilities is an advantage.
• Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Microsoft Clarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead user research activities including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and customer journey mapping.
• Identify customer pain points and translate insights into actionable design improvements.
• Develop personas, user flows, wireframes, and information architecture.
• Ensure customer-centric design principles are embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
• Design modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Produce high-fidelity mock-ups, interactive prototypes, and design specifications.
• Maintain and evolve Mazad's design system and component library.
• Ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to define product requirements.
• Participate in product discovery, sprint planning, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Success teams on customer-facing experiences.
• Lead complex design initiatives from concept to implementation.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on design best practices.
• Promote design thinking and user-centred methodologies across the organisation.
• Drive continuous improvement of UX processes and standards.
• Analyse customer behaviour using analytics and usability data.
• Monitor user engagement and conversion metrics.
• Recommend enhancements based on customer feedback and platform performance.
• Conduct A/B testing where appropriate to improve user experience.
