Job summary

Consulting Engineers Group UK Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 10+ years of highway and road experience, preferably GCC/Bahrain. The position requires strong expertise in BOQ, cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration to manage large infrastructure projects.

GCC/Bahrain experience is preferred, with oversight of budgets, payments, and contract compliance across multidisciplinary teams. This is a site-based role in Bahrain, with potential regional exposure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates.
• Carry out quantity take-off from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare tender and contract documents.
• Evaluate contractor quotations, variations, and claims.
• Monitor project costs and prepare financial reports.
• Review interim payments and final accounts.
• Coordinate with design, project, and contract teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
• Attend technical and commercial meetings with clients and contractors.

Required Qualifications

• Masters in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (Preferred)
• Bachelors in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  
  

Required Experince

• Minimum 10 years of experince in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and contract administration for infrastructure and construction projects.
• GCC/Bahrain experince is preferred.
• Strong experience in preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), quantity take-off, cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration
• Familiar with FIDIC Conditions of Contract and standard methods of measurement.
• Experience in evaluation of variations, claims, and contractor payments.
