EMCO COMPANY W.L.L is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive MEP building construction experience, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, drainage and firefighting systems. You will supervise mechanical installations, review drawings, specify equipment, and coordinate with disciplines to ensure quality and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and 10–15 years of Bahrain/GCC experience, with strong AutoCAD skills and knowledge of ASHRAE/SMACNA/NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in MEP contracting and building construction.
• Strong expertise in HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, drainage and firefighting systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, engineering calculations and preparation of technical documentation.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA standards.
• Experience in equipment selection, material approvals, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Ability to independently manage mechanical works and resolve technical site issues.
• Previous Bahrain or GCC construction experience preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and manage mechanical installations, including HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, drainage and firefighting systems.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications and BOQs.
• Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, technical submissions and RFIs.
• Perform technical calculations, equipment selection and material evaluations.
• Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, civil and architectural disciplines.
• Ensure site installations comply with approved drawings, specifications and applicable engineering standards.
• Prepare material take-offs, review quantities and provide technical support for procurement.
• Identify technical discrepancies, resolve site issues and coordinate with consultants and main contractors.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, inspections and final handover of mechanical systems.
• Monitor site progress, manpower productivity, material consumption and project schedules.
• Evaluate technical variations and additional works.

Key Responsibilities
