Job summary

Nass Group & Corporation seeks an experienced Mechanical Construction Supervisor to oversee sites and workshops, coordinating foremen, technicians, fitters, welders and subcontractors. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specs, schedules, safety and quality standards while driving progress and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background and 7+ years in construction or maintenance, with at least 3 years in supervision; GCC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical construction, industrial maintenance, fabrication, or contracting projects.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience in industrial plants, commercial construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, or heavy engineering projects.
• GCC experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical activities at project sites and workshops.
• Lead and manage mechanical foremen, technicians, fitters, welders, fabricators, riggers, and subcontractors.
• Review project drawings, specifications, method statements, and work schedules prior to execution.
• Plan manpower, equipment, materials, and resources to achieve project targets.
• Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed according to approved schedules.
• Coordinate with project engineers, clients, consultants, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all mechanical installations and fabrication works comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational, and resource-related issues.
• Monitor productivity and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Verify material availability and coordinate with procurement and stores departments.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain project documentation, site records, and attendance reports.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship, quality control, and housekeeping.
