EMCO COMPANY W.L.L is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager specializing in MEP to lead contract management for large building projects in Bahrain. The role requires oversight of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting and ELV systems, with emphasis on compliance and risk management.

You will review terms, negotiate variations, and manage EOT and delay claims while coordinating with project teams. Strong communication, negotiation and documentation skills are essential for timely reporting

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry, preferably MEP contracting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and ELV systems.
• Solid understanding of FIDIC contracts and construction contract administration.
• Proven experience in variation claims, EOT claims, cost control and final accounts.
• Ability to read construction drawings, BOQs, specifications and contractual documents.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Bahrain or GCC projects is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and administer all MEP contracts, subcontracts, and contractual agreements.
• Review contract terms, conditions, specifications and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project deadlines.
• Prepare, review and submit variation orders and additional work claims.
• Prepare and substantiate Extension of Time (EOT) and delay claims.
• Identify contractual risks and advise Management on appropriate actions.
• Review and monitor project budgets, contract values, costs and profitability.
• Prepare and review interim payment applications, valuations and final accounts.
• Monitor payment certifications, outstanding payments and contractual deductions.
• Handle contractual correspondence with Clients, Consultants, Main Contractors and Subcontractors.
• Negotiate contractual claims, variations and commercial settlements.
• Review tender documents, BOQ, specifications and contract conditions.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and contractual terms.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and Procurement teams.
• Monitor project progress and identify contractual delays and potential claims.
• Attend commercial and contractual meetings with Clients, Consultants and Main Contractors.
• Resolve contractual disputes and commercial issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of contracts, claims, variations and correspondence.
• Ensure timely submission of contractual notices, claims and payment applications.
• Provide regular commercial and contractual reports to Management.

Key Requirements
