Penny Software, a fast-growing procurement and technology company, seeks a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer in Manama to lead AI/ML development and end-to-end integration.

You will deploy AI agents, build scalable systems, and collaborate with Product, Data, and UX teams to deliver measurable value for procurement professionals across the MENA region. On-site role with growth into leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on AI development experience.
• Experience building AI agents and automated chatbots — going beyond simple prompting to systems that reason and take action.
• Strong command of modern LLM techniques, plus hands-on experience applying OCR and vision models to real problems.
• Ability to host and deploy your own custom (and open-source) models online on GCP or another cloud platform.
• Solid backend engineering skills plus front-end proficiency with a modern framework (Angular) to integrate AI solutions into the product yourself.
• Proven ability to solve complex business problems using AI/ML with measurable impact.
• Strong understanding of data processing and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• AI/ML Development & Deployment: Build AI agents and chatbots, deploy them, and use LLM techniques for value creation.
• Full Stack Integration: Connect AI models to backend services and Angular-based front-ends.
• Deployment & Technical Leadership: Ensure scalable, secure AI solutions; mentor engineers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Data, and UX teams to align AI improvements with user needs.
