Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in a similar role or industry.
• Diploma or vocational certification/degree in related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate across teams.
• Proven problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform work quickly, economically and to standards.
• Advise workshop lead if additional work is required on a vehicle and seek his assistance and authority in rectification of faults.
• Supervise and assist with the training of apprentices when requested by senior technician or service executive.
• Maintain competence through on-site training, attending supplier/manufacturer courses and reading technical bulletins.
• Discuss with customers problems with the vehicle and ensure total involvement in resolution.
• Maintain the company image of professionalism and quality of service when dealing with customers.
• Keep equipment, protective clothing and work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Assist management with introducing new methods of work to improve efficiency.
