Job summary

Booking.com is seeking a Team Lead Corporate Accounting to oversee accounting activities for all corporate entities and manage day-to-day close processes under US GAAP and local GAAP. You will lead a global team, ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, and coordinate external audits with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include managing balance sheets and P&L, preparing SEC footnotes and statutory filings where applicable, driving process improvement, and ensuring SOX

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong accounting foundation.
• Experience with US GAAP/IFRS and SOX controls and audits.
• 8+ years in a senior corporate accounting role or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting activities for all corporate entities.
• Oversee day-to-day corporate accounting operations and monthly close.
• Support statutory and US audits and auditor requests.
• Own and improve closing processes (monthly/quarterly/annual).
• Manage balance sheet, P&L, and variance analyses for corporate entities.
• Prepare financial reports and schedules for defined entities.
• Guide team on complex issues and drive cross-functional accounting work.
• Collaborate with Treasury, P2P, Financial Systems, Risk & Controls.
• Ensure SOX compliance and timely regulatory filings.
