Job summary

Advanced Search Group seeks a Global Controller to own financial reporting across multi-entity operations in Bahrain. You will work directly with the CEO on capital markets, M&A support, and strategic planning.

The role requires Big 4 background, CPA, and 12+ years of accounting with US GAAP/IFRS experience. You will manage consolidations, controls, and ERP reporting, reporting to the CEO in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

Big 4 audit or advisory background with progression to senior/manager level.
Top-tier university degree in accountancy or finance with strong academic record.
CPA required; CMA/ACCA or equivalent preferred.
12+ years of progressive finance/accounting, multi-entity consolidations, multi-jurisdiction reporting.
Experience beyond day-to-day accounting: capital markets, M&A, or acquisition modeling.
Ability to work independently and report to the CEO.
Willingness to complete a cognitive assessment (PLI) during screening.

Responsibilities

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidations across entities and jurisdictions (US GAAP and IFRS as applicable).
Quality control of accounting-team output before leadership review.
Support CEO on projections, scenarios, capital markets and transactions.
Lead M&A / JV financial due diligence, valuation support, and integration analysis.
Coordinate audit and tax with external advisors across jurisdictions.
Maintain internal controls, treasury discipline, and ERP-based reporting.
