Job summary

NASS Group & Corporation is seeking a Senior Estimator (Civil) in Bahrain to lead cost estimation for civil, infrastructure, marine, and building projects. The role involves tender analysis, first-principles estimating, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to deliver competitive bids.

You will supervise quantity take-offs, assess project risks, and develop cost-optimization strategies while coordinating with engineering and operations teams to meet tight tender deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years experience in civil infrastructure, building, or marine estimating.
• GCC/Middle East project experience preferred.
• Proficient in first-principles estimating and cost analysis.
• Experience reviewing quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns.
• Strong risk analysis and contingency planning skills.
• Excellent negotiation with suppliers/subcontractors and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents to understand project scope and risks.
• Prepare technical and commercial tender queries for clarifications.
• Supervise quantity take-offs for accuracy and completeness.
• Develop detailed cost estimates and rate build-ups.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations for tenders.
• Apply productivity norms and resource planning to estimates.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to improve competitiveness.
• Coordinate with planning, technical, operations, and estimation teams.
