Systems Arabia is seeking a Senior Lead Business Analyst – Asset Management to independently lead complex business analysis across Business, Operations, Data, and Technology. You will translate business needs into clear, implementable solutions within asset/investment management domains.

The role requires deep expertise in portfolio management, investment operations, and data governance, with strong stakeholder collaboration and a track record of delivering end-to-end improvements.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in Business Analysis with Asset / Investment Management focus.
• Strong understanding of Portfolio Management, Portfolio Accounting, Investment Operations, and related lifecycle.
• Experience with Mutual Funds and/or Discretionary Portfolio Management preferred.
• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, management, traceability, and change management.

Responsibilities

Senior Lead Business Analyst – Asset Management

We are looking for a Senior / Lead Business Analyst – Asset Management with strong experience in Asset / Investment Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for independently leading complex business analysis across Business, Operations, Data, and Technology, translating business needs into clear and implementable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis for complex Asset / Investment Management initiatives.


• Elicit, analyze, document, validate, and manage business and functional requirements.


• Analyze business processes, data, systems, and workflows to identify gaps, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.


• Define business rules, validations, controls, exception scenarios, and acceptance criteria.


• Gather and analyze data requirements, including data mapping and system/integration requirements.


• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and manage communication across business and technology teams.


• Support UAT, business validation, and solution sign-off.


• Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, vendors, and delivery teams.


• Provide domain expertise across portfolio management, investment operations, trade lifecycle, performance, reporting, valuation/NAV, reconciliation, and investment data.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in Business Analysis, with significant hands-on experience in Asset / Investment Management.


• Strong understanding of Portfolio Management, Portfolio Accounting, Investment Operations, Order & Trade Lifecycle, Performance Measurement, Reporting, Valuation/NAV, and Reconciliation.


• Experience with Mutual Funds and/or Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) is preferred.


• Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, management, traceability, and change management.


• Strong data analysis and data mapping skills; SQL experience is highly desirable.


• Ability to conduct impact, dependency, and gap analysis and translate business problems into implementable solutions.


• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Experience with platforms such as Advent APX, SimCorp, Charles River, Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM, FactSet, or similar platforms is an advantage.


• Ability to challenge assumptions, identify gaps, and independently drive analysis from problem definition through solution implementation.
