Job summary

Edamah Company is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze and optimize cross-department processes, document current and future states, and collaborate with IT teams and vendors. The role emphasizes requirements gathering, governance, and delivering clear documentation such as SOPs and BRDs.

You will work with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives, support system implementations, and help drive digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience documenting processes, requirements, and governance artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document AS-IS business processes across departments.
• Design TO-BE processes aligned with objectives and system capabilities.
• Apply process frameworks such as APQC, SIPOC, and BPMN.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions.
• Maintain traceability across processes, systems, vendors, and deliverables.

Scope of Work

1. Business Process Analysis & Optimization
   • Analyze and document current-state (AS-IS) business processes across departments.
   • Design future-state (TO-BE) processes aligned with business objectives and system capabilities.
   • Apply structured process frameworks such as APQC, SIPOC, and BPMN.
2. Requirements Gathering & Definition
   • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions.
   • Maintain requirements of traceability across processes, systems, vendors, and deliverables.
3. Documentation & Standards
   • Produce high-quality documentation including; Process maps and workflows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and Functional specifications.
   • Maintain document version control, approvals, and sign-offs.
4. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
   • Act as a bridge between business users, IT teams, and external vendors.
   • Track vendor deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and performance.
5. Procurement & Governance Support
   • Support preparation of RFPs, RFQs, and technical scopes.
   • Track decisions, risks, issues, approvals, and governance outcomes.
6. Data & Analytical Responsibilities
   • Understand and document; Master data vs transactional data, and Data ownership, quality, and governance concepts
   • Define data fields, business definitions, and high-level data models.
   • Validate that systems and integrations support reporting and analytics needs.
7. Technical & Platform Awareness
   • Maintain high-level understanding of:
   • ERP and CRM systems
   • System integrations (APIs, data flows)
   • Cloud-based platforms and architectures
   • Analyze CRM platforms including processes and data structures.
8. Project & Delivery Support
   • Support IT and digital projects from initiation to delivery.
   • Work with project management tools such as Asana, ClickUp, or similar.

Educational Background

Bachelor's Degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferred Experience Background

• 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Proven experience working with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Experience supporting system implementations, process optimization, or digital transformation initiatives.
