Job summary

Al-Futtaim Retail in Bahrain is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a store team, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service and in-store execution.

You will monitor performance, manage budgets, and implement programs to achieve targets while maintaining brand standards and a focus on operational excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to analyse figures and act on insights to maximise profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in business, retail, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in retail and team management.
• Strong knowledge of fashion/beauty industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Drive, monitor, and review sales performance; propose action plans to meet store budget goals.
• Conduct monthly category performance meetings with selling staff to review results and plan improvements.
• Implement strategies for 100% execution of programs to achieve sales targets of exclusive products and provide promo feedback.
• Manage store OPEX budgets (utilities, wrap supply, staff costs) and optimize controllable expenses.
• Maintain shrinkage budget below tolerance through daily Retail Operating Standards monitoring.
• Ensure planogram implementation and SOP compliance across the store.
