Job description

As a Restaurant Manager at our bustling establishment in Dar Kulaib you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. Your main goal will be to maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all aspects of the restaurant including staff, inventory, and finances.
• Create and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Train, schedule and motivate employees to provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales and expenses.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items or specials.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the restaurant premises.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, e.g., POS.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed.

Qualifications: A degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field is preferred. However, candidates with extensive experience in the food industry will also be considered.
