Job summary

Sisco Jobs, on behalf of our client in Bahrain, is seeking a Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in maintaining rebar cutting and bending machinery. The ideal candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose equipment faults, and ensure safe, reliable operation of production lines.

Experience in a rebar processing or steel fabrication environment is preferred. ITI/ diploma in mechanical/electrical trades is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance knowledge of factory machinery and production equipment.
• Familiarity with rebar cut & bend machinery.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
• Breakdown maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rebar cutting and bending machinery.
• Inspect production equipment regularly for faults and abnormal operating conditions.
• Diagnose breakdowns and repair to minimize downtime.
• Maintain mechanical components, drives, bearings, cutting mechanisms, and equipment.
• Support servicing and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot machinery issues and restore safe operation.
• Follow safety procedures during maintenance and repair.
• Maintain records of inspections, servicing, breakdowns, and repairs.
