Sisco Jobs is recruiting on behalf of a client in Bahrain for a Production Engineer in the rebar/steel sector. The role focuses on managing day-to-day production, planning cutting and bending, and ensuring equipment efficiency and safety across the shop floor.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in rebar production/maintenance, with a diploma/BE/BTech in Mechanical or Production Engineering, and a strong eye for quality control and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in rebar cut & bend production and maintenance field.
• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• Experience in planning and controlling shop-floor production.
• Strong understanding of equipment maintenance and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day rebar cut and bend production to meet targets.
• Plan and coordinate cutting, bending, scheduling, and processing of reinforcement steel.
• Monitor rebar processing machinery for efficient utilization.
• Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of production equipment.
• Troubleshoot production and machinery issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor product quality, dimensions, bending accuracy, and production output.
• Maintain production and maintenance records and report performance.
• Ensure safe working practices and adherence to procedures.
