Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise EVA footwear production from material prep to packing.
• Develop and execute EVA footwear designs per production requirements.
• Plan daily and monthly production schedules to hit targets.
• Operate EVA injection/moulding lines and related machinery.
• Monitor production parameters and ensure product quality.
• Identify and resolve issues with production, moulds, materials, and machines.
• Control material use, minimize wastage and rejections.
• Supervise workers, assign duties, and foster teamwork.
• Coordinate with maintenance, QA, warehouse, purchasing, and management.
• Train staff on procedures, quality standards, and safety.
• Prepare production reports and report to management.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and production procedures.

Role Description

The Production Supervisor/Manager will be responsible for managing the complete production operations of an EVA footwear manufacturing unit, ensuring efficient production, consistent quality, minimum material wastage, and timely completion of production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the complete EVA footwear production process, from raw material preparation and EVA compound formulation to moulding, finishing, inspection, and packing.
• Develop and execute different EVA footwear designs and products according to production requirements.
• Have strong knowledge of EVA compound formulation, including resin, additives, colours, and other required materials.
• Plan daily and monthly production schedules and ensure production targets are achieved.
• Operate and supervise EVA injection/moulding production lines and related machinery.
• Monitor production parameters and maintain consistent product quality.
• Identify and resolve production, mould, material, and machinery-related problems.
• Control material consumption and minimize production wastage and rejection.
• Supervise production workers, assign responsibilities, and maintain effective teamwork.
• Coordinate with the maintenance, quality control, warehouse, purchasing, and management teams to ensure smooth production.
• Train and develop production staff on operating procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety.
• Monitor production performance, prepare production reports, and provide regular updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and production procedures.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in EVA footwear manufacturing, with proven expertise in EVA compound formulation, injection moulding, mould setting, production planning, and troubleshooting.

The candidate should be capable of independently managing a production unit, supervising a large team, achieving production targets, controlling material wastage, and maintaining consistent product quality.

Candidates with 510 years of relevant EVA footwear production experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role, will be preferred. Strong leadership, technical problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills are essential.
