Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay in Manama seeks a Prep Cook 2 to support daily staff cafeteria food preparation, ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation, and collaborate with the culinary team to deliver meals for employees. The role requires prior kitchen experience, basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, and strong adherence to food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role, preferably in hotel, restaurant, or staff cafeteria.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions and SOPs.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare ingredients for cooking including washing, peeling, cutting, chopping and portioning.
• Assist in the preparation and cooking of daily staff meals according to recipes and menu requirements.
• Ensure food is prepared, stored and served following food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain stock levels by reporting shortages and assisting with inventory control
• Label, date and store food products following FIFO procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment and storage areas
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries according to standards
• Minimize food waste through proper handling and storage
• Support the culinary team during busy service periods and events
