Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in platform engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
• Experience in managing and delivering projects.
• Expertise in Cloud Services (AWS and Azure) and on‑premise infrastructure management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Github Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Proficiency in observability tools like New Relic, Grafana, or similar.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and task management.
• Understanding of system, security, and compliance best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure across multi-cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and scaling of applications and infrastructure.
• Implement and manage observability tools to monitor performance, detect anomalies, and ensure high availability.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code to automate provisioning and management of resources.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and implement best practices for system architecture, security, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure, applications, and services.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain efficient infrastructure.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
