Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for on-site contract work on Amwaj Island, Bahrain. You will perform hardware installations, migrations, and structured cabling, while coordinating with remote NOC teams to ensure uptime.

Requirements include 2+ years in data center or IT infra, strong cabling, familiarity with server hardware, and professional English communication. DCIM and ticketing systems experience are preferred; on-site transport is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infra experience.
• Strong cabling skills including copper and fiber.
• Experience with common server hardware brands.
• Proven ability to document work with notes and photos.
• Professional English communication and on-site reliability.
• Preferred: data center and network certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues; document work.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
