VAM Systems is seeking a Network Administrator for its Bahrain operations. The role requires the management of network infrastructure and security, including configuring firewalls, switches, routers, and load balancers.

Collaboration with internal teams and vendors is essential to resolve issues and ensure robust network performance. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in BIS/CS and specialized networking certifications (CCNA/CCNP, AWS Networks, Fortinet or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in BIS/CS or equivalent.
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP, AWS Networks, Fortinet or equivalent certifications are preferred for networking Routing & Switching, Firewalls and Cloud technology.

Responsabilités

• Manage network infrastructure and security for Bahrain operations.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, switches, routers, and load balancers.
• Coordinate with teams, ISPs and vendors to troubleshoot network issues.
• Perform security patching and hardening of node firmware as required.

Skills

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in BIS, computer science or equivalent.

Specialized certification in Cisco CCNA, CCNP, AWS Networks, Fortinet or equivalent for networking Routing and Switching, Firewalls and Cloud technology

Work experience in network support and security field of at least 2 years, in configuring network firewalls, switches, routers, load balancers

Ability to troubleshoot of network issues with different teams, entities, ISP and vendors

Working on vulnerabilities security patching by performing node firmware upgrade planning and execution and doing security configuration hardening.

Immediate join upon passing the job interview.
