Position Summary

Nair Systems is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator to manage and support enterprise-wide servers, networks, virtualization platforms, and end-user computing environments. This role is critical in ensuring the availability, security, performance, and reliability of the organization’s IT infrastructure while supporting business continuity and operational excellence.

Detailed Job Description

As an IT Infrastructure Administrator, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining the organization’s entire IT ecosystem, including servers, networks, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and desktop environments. You will oversee infrastructure operations, implement security controls, manage backups and disaster recovery processes, and ensure optimal performance across all IT services. The role requires strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, networking, systems administration, and infrastructure troubleshooting. You will collaborate closely with internal IT teams and business stakeholders to support upgrades, deployments, and ongoing infrastructure improvement initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic enterprise environment while managing mission‑critical IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and upgrade enterprise servers, network infrastructure, and desktop environments
• Manage Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Exchange Server
• Configure and maintain DNS, DHCP, WDS, FTP, SFTP, file servers, print servers, and backup systems
• Manage virtualization platforms and ensure the availability of virtual servers and services
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, applications, and peripherals
• Monitor network performance, availability, throughput, and security across the infrastructure
• Configure and manage switches, routers, firewalls, and network security solutions
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
• Manage cybersecurity solutions including antivirus, anti‑malware, anti‑spam, DLP, and content filtering systems
• Lead desktop support and ensure timely resolution of user incidents and service requests
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and infrastructure optimization activities
• Analyze system logs, monitor network traffic, and proactively identify security threats
• Create technical documentation and infrastructure implementation plans
• Ensure network security, service availability, and compliance with operational standards

Required Qualifications & Skills

• MCSE certification (mandatory)
• CCNA certification (mandatory)
• Strong experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Exchange Server administration
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
• Experience managing enterprise networking devices including switches, routers, and firewalls
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and virtual server management
• Understanding of backup, recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions
• Experience managing desktop infrastructure and end‑user support services
• Knowledge of network monitoring, infrastructure troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Experience with scripting and automation for infrastructure administration
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, or other enterprise virtualization platforms
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments
