Job summary

Grant Thornton International in Bahrain seeks a Helpdesk and IT Support Services professional for day-to-day IT helpdesk and on-site support. The role covers incident logging, user assistance, and troubleshooting across Windows, AD, M365, and Outlook, with a focus on SLA-driven service delivery.

Secondment/Outsourcing arrangement for 1 year, requiring a bachelor's degree in IT or related field and prior helpdesk experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in IT Technical Support / Helpdesk / Desktop Support.
• Experience with ticketing/helpdesk systems and SLA-based support is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT helpdesk and technical support to users.
• Receive, log, prioritize and follow up on IT incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT equipment.
• Install and troubleshoot operating systems and applications.
• Provide support for Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Outlook/email.
• Assist with user account, access and permission-related issues.
• Provide onsite technical support for meetings, conferences and events etc.
• Maintain accurate records of reported issues and solutions.
• Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved and provide timely technical updates.
• Escalate complex issues to the relevant technical teams when required.
• Support IT operations in line with established ITIL/service management and information security practices.
