Job summary

Kempinski Hotels is seeking a Director of Information Technology in Manama to lead IT strategy, deployment, security, and ongoing management for a luxury property during pre-opening and into full operations.

The role oversees core systems (Opera PMS, Simphony POS, RMS, guest Wi‑Fi, IPTV), network design, and cybersecurity, while coordinating with MEP contractors and site developers. Fluent English required, Arabic a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years in an IT leadership role within a luxury hotel environment; pre-opening experience preferred.
• Fluent English; Arabic an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT deployment and handover during pre-opening to full operations.
• Lead core hospitality systems rollout: Opera PMS, Simphony POS, RMS, guest Wi‑Fi, IPTV, telephony.
• Ensure high-availability network design, security, and data protection.
• Manage vendor SLAs, licenses, budgets, and CapEx/OpEx for IT.
• Recruit, onboard, and train the IT team; establish helpdesk workflows and training.
