Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Director of Sales to lead the hotel’s sales efforts, drive revenue growth, and establish strong client relationships. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage the sales team, and collaborate with other departments to maximize occupancy and revenue.

The director will be responsible for delivering on targeted business objectives for total revenue, GOP, market share, OSAT, and employee engagement within the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed goals.
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and travel partners.
• Conduct regular sales calls and site visits to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with the revenue management team to develop pricing strategies and inventory management.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to refine sales tactics.
• Create attractive sales promotions, packages, and offers to enhance market competitiveness.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns effectively.
• Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
• Establish partnerships with local businesses, tourism boards, and event planners.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and market insights.
• Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and inventory strategies.
• In conjunction with marketing, support public relations efforts, developing and implementing PR initiatives.
