Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Management Engineer to assist the department head in budgeting, capex planning and preventive maintenance. You will help safeguard asset protection and energy efficiency, while coordinating staff and contractors to meet safety and quality standards.

You will drive guest and employee satisfaction through clear communication, training, and effective leadership in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.
• Experience in engineering and maintenance in professional settings.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises distribution of repair work orders.
• Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently.
• Assists in planning, scheduling and evaluating preventative maintenance.
• Maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees.
• Monitors timeliness and quality of repair work orders.
• Supervises Engineering and related areas in absence of the Director of Engineering.
• Manages physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life safety systems.
• Communicates business objectives and expectations to staff.
