Job summary

Gulf Air seeks a Manager Aircraft Structure and Interiors to oversee the structures and interiors engineering group, providing technical support and development in line with airworthiness requirements.

You will allocate staff, review ADs/SBs, and liaise with manufacturers to enhance in-service performance while ensuring training, records, and approvals remain up to date and compliant with ANTR M regulations.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering degree or aircraft maintenance qualification.
• Additional education acceptable to Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA).
• Minimum 7 years airline technical experience, of which 4 years in aircraft structures/interiors.

Responsibilities

• Allocate staff and review responses to Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and Technical Follow Ups for structures/interiors as required by ANTR M 301/302/303.
• Ensure staff performance and activities comply with procedures per ANTR M 704 and current practice.
• Liaise with aircraft component and system manufacturers to explore enhancements to in-service equipment.
• Recruit and retain adequately qualified staff for key positions; ensure defined roles per ANTR M 706.
• Maintain Gulf Air's structural repair and damage records per AMTR M 304 and monitor KPIs via performance management.
