Gulf Air Group Holding Company seeks an experienced Manager Aircraft Structure and Interiors to lead the Structures Interiors Engineering group. You will provide technical support, develop aircraft structures and cabin interiors, and ensure compliance with governing regulations.
Responsibilities include directing staff, coordinating with manufacturers, and maintaining maintenance programmes while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Manager Aircraft Structure and Interiors is accountable to Senior Manager Engineering for the effective management of the Structures Interiors Engineering group providing technical support and development for aircraft structures and cabin interior in accordance with the duties and responsibilities specified herein
Allocate staff and review their responses to Airworthiness Directives Service Bulletins Service Letters Technical Follow Ups where applicableto aircraft structures and cabin interiors as required by Air NaviationTechnical Regulation ANTR Part M 301 7 M 302 a and M 303 Ensure staff performance and their activities in accordance with theprocedures established in compliance with ANTR M 704 a 7 and thatthey are continually amended and updated to reflect current practice andany new regulatory requirements Ensure the structures and interiors group promptly carry out theirresponsibilities in respect of Service Bulletins Service Letters TechnicalFollow Ups etc in accordance with the embodiment policy established inaccordance with ANTR M 301 7 Liaise with aircraft component and system manufacturers to exploreopportunities for enhancements improvements to the technicalperformance of in-service equipment The provision of technical representation and technical informationexchange on behalf of Gulf Air engineering at industrysymposiums conferences vendor meetings and third party organizationsas required Ensure that an adequate number of properly qualified staff are recruitedand retained for all key job positions and that those job roles are clearlydefined as required by ANTR M 706 g Ensure that appropriate training is provided and that it is properlyrecorded for all staff involved in the aircraft continuing airworthinessfunctions or related activities as required by ANTR M 706 h Any corrective action relevant to his area resulting from the quality auditprogramme in accordance with ANTR M 712 Ensure that the CAME TIM procedures pertaining to the activities ofareas under his her control is continually amended and updated to reflectcurrent practice and take account of any new airworthiness requirements Ensure that the modifications embodiment policy is in accordance withANTR M 301 7 and GF CAME procedures Assess and recommend proposed changes to the Approved AircraftMaintenance Programme related to the aircraft structures cabininteriors for which his staff are responsible Direct all non OEM modification Engineering Development activities toensure timescales specifications and budget constraints are met Select suitable approved external Part 21 Design Organizations to assistGulf Air with design tasks Ensure that Gulf Air aircraft structural damage and repair records aremaintained in accordance with AMTR M 304 Discharge position responsibilities and duties in such a manner thatdefined performance and achievement goals can be satisfied Undertake periodic staff performance appraisals in association with theSME Responsible for subordinates KPIs and required to complete all stages ofperformance management system
a relevant engineering degree or an aircraft maintenance qualification withadditional education acceptable to the BCAA relevant engineering degree means an engineering degree from aeronautical mechanical electrical electronic avionic or other studies relevant to the maintenance andcontinuing airworthiness of aircraft aircraft components
1Minimum 7 years airline technical experience of which 4 years should be inan aircraft structure interiors discipline
DECISION MAKINGWorks independently within the broad frame work as laid down by SeniorManager Engineering SME Is expected to resolve day-to-day problemsregarding technical issues provide appropriate technical advice on mattersand problems relating to technical support issues to the SME
RESULTSDecision making with regard to technical issues schedule fulfillment willhave a considerable effect on current aircraft in service availability reliability technical dispatch reliability Actions could potentially affectaircraft serviceability operational standards and aircraft safety Any errors or oversight with regard to technical issues could have adverseconsequences ranging from grounding of aircrafts to huge penalties theprovided customer service and consequently adversely affect company sreputation

Normal office working condition The position holder is required to travelfrequently between Bahrain H Q and other locations online and offlinestations facilities and service providers spare suppliers for planning andconducting various technical representative functions 2
