Job summary
DHL Express in Bahrain is seeking a skilled Powerplant Engineer to support the Technical Services Manager in ensuring continued airworthiness of aircraft Powerplant/APU systems. You will manage material flow, data integrity in the TRAX system, and liaise with OEMs and authorities for SBs and ADs.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Powerplant engineering, CAMO familiarity, and a licensed maintenance credential (EASA/FAA/ICAO Type II).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Technical Services Powerplant Engineering.
- GE CF6-80C2 CAMO technical experience is a distinct advantage.
- Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (EASA / FAA / ICAO Type II).
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with TRAX or AMOS or similar maintenance systems.
- Experience with Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) software.
- Experience with fuel/engine data analysis and LLP/BTB trace packages.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Technical Services Manager - Powerplant to ensure continued airworthiness support.
- Manage material movement and ensure TRAX data reflects accurately and timely.
- Evaluate engines/APU for airworthiness and potential modifications.
- Coordinate with vendors and authorities on Service Bulletins and directives.
- Support line maintenance with troubleshooting and technical liaison with OEMs.
