Job summary

AVANA Companies is seeking a world-class Global Controller to oversee financial reporting integrity across multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction platforms. You will work directly with the CEO on capital markets, acquisitions, and critical financial ownership responsibilities beyond routine accounting.

The role requires 12+ years of experience, Big 4 background, CPA, and strong US GAAP/IFRS knowledge, with leadership across global teams and ERP systems like Acumatica.

Qualifications

• Big 4 audit or advisory experience at senior/manager level.
• University degree in accountancy or finance with strong academic standing.
• CPA or equivalent designation required; CMA/ACCA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience across multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction reporting.

Responsibilities

• Close monthly, quarterly, and annual books across entities and jurisdictions (US GAAP & IFRS).
• Quality control of accounting outputs before leadership review.
• Support CEO on capital markets, projections, and transaction analyses.
• Lead or assist on M&A/ JV due diligence, valuation, and integration work.
