Job summary

Degree 6 is seeking a Technical Consultant based in Bahrain to provide expert technical support for sales on Formwork and Falsework projects. The successful candidate will manage engineering teams, ensuring compliance with local engineering risk management policies and effectively contribute to project success.

The role offers a competitive salary package up to £66,000, alongside housing benefits and other perks, making it equivalent to earning £85,000-£90,000 in the UK. Ideal applicants will have extensive knowledge in engineering practices and the ability to train others.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of calculating wind loadings to BS6399:2.
• Working knowledge of BS5975.
• Ability to carry out beam design to BS449 including stiffeners.

Responsibilities

• Ensure engineering work in KSA/Bahrain conforms to engineering policies.
• Implement procedures to maintain compliance in engineering work.
• Manage engineering teams and set performance objectives.
