Job summary

EliteHire seeks an Assistant Construction Manager in Manama, Bahrain to assist the project manager with planning, design and construction activities. You will help with budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors and vendors while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and at least 2 years in construction management, plus strong communication and blueprint-reading skills. Salary is offered with accommodation support for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in construction management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, costs, scheduling, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for timely completion.
• Monitor progress and quality of construction work.
• Address issues or delays during construction.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Review and approve invoices from contractors and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records of project expenses and documentation.
