Job summary

Nass Group & Corporation is seeking an experienced ELV Systems Design Engineer to design, coordinate, supervise, and maintain ELV systems for construction and infrastructure projects in Bahrain.

You will ensure compliance with client specs, standards, safety and quality requirements while guiding installation, testing, and handover processes, and supporting tendering with technical input.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ELV design and project execution.
• Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of international standards and ELV best practices.
• GCC experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, supervise, and maintain ELV systems per standards and client specs.
• Prepare shop drawings, submittals, method statements, and documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other disciplines.
• Review specifications and ensure regulatory & industry compliance.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor progress to meet budget and schedule.
• Evaluate and approve ELV materials and equipment.
• Prepare project reports and maintain records.
• Support estimation and tendering with technical inputs.
• Ensure HSE and quality throughout execution.

Job description

To design, coordinate, supervise, and maintain Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications, applicable standards, project schedules, and quality requirements.

• Design, review, and implement ELV systems including:
• CCTV Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Public Address (PA) Systems
• Structured Cabling Systems
• Telephone & Data Networks
• Fire Alarm Interface Systems
• Intrusion Detection Systems
• Video Intercom Systems
• Building Management System (BMS) Integration
• Prepare shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review project specifications and ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during project execution.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within budget and schedule.
• Evaluate and approve ELV materials and equipment.
• Prepare project reports and maintain project records.
• Support the estimation and tendering team with technical inputs when required.
• Ensure adherence to HSE and quality requirements throughout project execution.
