Job summary

SGB is seeking a Crypto & Payment Operations Associate to manage daily cross-border remittances, crypto settlements, and reconciliations. You will process SWIFT/ISO 20022 messages and on-chain transfers, ensure AML/Travel Rule compliance, and liaise with banks to resolve Nostro breaks.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to SOPs, and timely troubleshooting in a fast-paced fintech setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking or Finance or related field.
• 1–3 years in bank payment processing, cross-border remittances, or fintech/crypto ops.
• Knowledge of SWIFT MT/ISO 20022 messaging and Nostro reconciliation.
• Familiarity with crypto wallets, stablecoins, and basic blockchain concepts.
• Understanding AML, KYC, sanctions and Travel Rule requirements.
• Experience with block explorers for investigations.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily cross-border fiat remittances and crypto settlements.
• Process SWIFT/ISO 20022 messages and on-chain transfers.
• Resolve transaction exceptions and maintain SLA adherence.
• Perform travel rule screening and risk monitoring on transfers.
• Conduct account reconciliations across Nostro, LP balances and exchanges.
• Coordinate with banks and payment partners to resolve breaks.
