Job summary

SnapReach Media is seeking a Pastry Chef in Al-Malikiyah (Syria). The role involves preparing and presenting a variety of pastries and desserts, developing new recipes with the head chef, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen.

You will also manage inventory, train junior pastry staff, and ensure items are plated and served to perfection. Ideal candidates have culinary training and experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
• Knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and tools
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present a variety of pastries and desserts according to the menu and customer preferences
• Create new recipes and develop innovative pastry ideas
• Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety in the kitchen
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Train junior pastry chefs on proper techniques and procedures
