Job summary

Calo Inc. is seeking a Product Developer for the Marketplace team to own one or more CPG product lines from brief to launch and beyond. You will coordinate with NPD, Quality, Design, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing to meet deadlines and SLAs, owning timeline, cost, and P&L.

You’ll drive post-launch performance, including sales tracking, margin analysis and decisions to scale or discontinue SKUs, across GCC markets from Bahrain.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in product development or NPD management.
• Experience with manufacturers, co-packers or in-house kitchens.
• Commercial experience owning pricing, cost or P&L for a product line.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Native Arabic speaker, and fluent in English.
• Based in Bahrain.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned CPG lines end to end, from the line brief through launch and post-launch performance across GCC.
• Work with cross functional teams to coordinate launching a star product, up to quality and on time delivery.
• Manage securing the supply for in-house or outsourced products.
• Own the PnL of the assigned CPG lines.
• Track sales, margin and cost after launch, run the post-launch review, and take the call on whether to scale, fix or discontinue each SKU.
