Job summary

talabat is seeking an Associate Commercial Specialist to help grow our own Grocery Store tMart, a region-first cloud store concept delivering 30-minute groceries at hypermarket prices. The role bridges category managers and admin to ensure timely guidance and data-driven decisions across multiple markets.

The candidate will support daily business as usual, develop commercial strategies, manage contracts, and improve forecasting and inventory planning to optimize margins.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of proven work experience within the FMCG industry.
• Knowledge of social media and analytics software (Hootsuite, GA, Facebook Insights).
• Creative and strategic content creation with strong writing skills in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the commercial team on daily BAUs and report discrepancies across functions.
• Analyze and support development and execution of cross-functional commercial and operational strategies.
• Develop new business leads for vendors/accounts using CRM to manage and retain sales.
• Manage commercial contracts and ensure implementation to protect margins.
• Identify invoicing or billing issues and work to correct errors.
• Support campaign manager in trade plan execution and revenue analysis.
• Lead the commercial admin team with clear communication and recognition.
