Job summary

Hawar Resort by Mantis is seeking a professional Bartender to prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests. You will use your knowledge of cocktails, maintain high presentation standards, and deliver attentive service in a fast-paced resort setting.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, upselling beverages, and collaborating with the team to ensure smooth service while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of beverage menus and dietary considerations.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow service procedures.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and create a welcoming environment.
• Take beverage orders and upsell when appropriate.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including coffee and tea.
• Create new beverages and contribute to the beverages menu.
• Ensure correct glassware, garnishes and presentation for each drink.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Restock bar supplies and notify management of shortages.
• Follow health and safety regulations for ingredients handling.
• Process customer payments accurately and balance cash register at end of shift.
• Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
