Position Summary

The Bar & Lounge Director is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for a luxury destination cocktail lounge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, innovative beverage programming, and employee engagement. This role oversees all aspects of the venue's operation, including service standards, beverage innovation, talent development, marketing initiatives, and profitability, while maintaining the highest levels of hospitality excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all bar and lounge operations, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance revenue, profitability, guest satisfaction, and brand recognition.
• Lead, inspire, and develop management and line-level teams to achieve operational excellence and service consistency.
• Establish and maintain luxury service standards, ensuring guests receive personalized and memorable experiences.
• Build strong relationships with guests, VIP clientele, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
• Drive beverage innovation through the development of creative cocktail programs, premium spirit selections, wine offerings, and seasonal experiences.
• Collaborate with culinary, marketing, and operations teams to create unique concepts, activations, and promotional events.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and guest preferences to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, cost controls, and revenue optimization.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximize average check, profitability, and guest retention.
• Ensure effective inventory management, purchasing controls, and stock accountability to minimize losses and maximize efficiencies.
• Develop and execute annual business plans and promotional calendars aligned with strategic objectives.
• Lead recruitment efforts, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs that foster continuous learning and professional growth.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, engagement, and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations, licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Maintain the venue's atmosphere, presentation, and guest-facing environment to luxury hospitality standards.
• Oversee special events, partnerships, media activations, and VIP experiences within the venue.
• Review guest feedback, identify service improvement opportunities, and implement corrective action plans.
• Prepare and present operational and financial reports to senior leadership.
• Champion innovation and continuously seek opportunities to elevate the overall guest experience and venue reputation.

Qualifications
