Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team. You will install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AV, conferencing, and presentation systems across conferences, meetings, banquets, and guest events.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of luxury hospitality AV experience, strong knowledge of projectors, sound systems, IP networking, and familiar with Logitech Rally, Teams, Zoom, and Webex for hybrid meetings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Audio Visual Technology, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as an Audio Visual Technician, preferably within a luxury hotel, hospitality, conference, or events environment.
• Strong knowledge of audio systems, video displays, projectors, conferencing solutions, and lighting controls.
• Experience with Dante, network amplifiers, IP/VLAN networking, and AMX control systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment for conferences, meetings, weddings, banquets and events.
• Provide technical support for conferences, meetings, and guest events.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on AV systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize disruption to operations and events.
• Coordinate with Banquets, Events, IT, and Engineering to ensure AV requirements are met.
• Test and verify equipment functionality before scheduled events.
• Maintain inventory records of AV equipment, tools, and spare parts.
• Ensure compliance with Four Seasons standards and safety regulations.

Position Overview

Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay is seeking an experienced and dedicated Audio Visual Technician to join our team.

The Audio Visual Technician is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all audio-visual, communication, and presentation systems throughout the hotel. This role is essential in ensuring the successful execution of conferences, meetings, events, and guest experiences by providing professional technical support and maintaining the highest operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, set up, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment, including projectors, screens, sound systems, microphones, video conferencing equipment, and presentation technologies.
• Provide technical support for conferences, meetings, weddings, banquets, and special events held within the hotel.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on all audio-visual systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruption to hotel operations and guest events.
• Coordinate with Banquets, Events, IT, and Engineering teams to ensure all AV requirements are met efficiently.
• Test and verify equipment functionality before scheduled events.
• Maintain inventory records of AV equipment, tools, and spare parts.
• Ensure all systems comply with Four Seasons standards, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Recommend improvements and upgrades to enhance AV capabilities and guest experiences.
• Provide exceptional service to guests and internal stakeholders while responding to AV-related requests.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Audio Visual Technology, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Audio Visual Technician, preferably within a luxury hotel, hospitality, conference, or events environment.
• Strong knowledge of audio systems, video displays, projectors, conferencing solutions, and lighting controls.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital audio, Yamaha & QSC mixers, DSP, and signal flow
• Experience in ballroom, meeting room, conference, and live event operations
• Experience with troubleshooting AV and communication systems.
• Basic understanding of networking and IT infrastructure is an advantage.
• Knowledge of IPTV, CCTV, BGM and digital signage operation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Practical experience with Dante, network amplifiers, IP/VLAN networking, and AMX control systems
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by hotel operations.
