Job summary

KBR is seeking an associate accountant to support accounting operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves maintaining the general ledger, analyzing balance sheet accounts, and assisting in preparing management financial reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; related field accepted.
• Entry-level experience in accounting or finance preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and GL processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine accounting tasks under supervision, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support monthly and annual close processes and ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain the general ledger and assist in preparing management reports.
• Collaborate with team to support reporting requirements and improvements.
