Job summary

Abroad Work in Bahrain is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations and ensure accurate reporting. Based in Dar Kulaib, you will manage statements, close processes, and support budgeting.

This position requires solid knowledge of accounting standards, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Immediate start preferred; visa support available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accountant.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records.
• Review financial data for accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations.
• Handle month-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Prepare annual audit schedules and liaise with auditors.
