Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accounting and at least two years of related experience, plus strong Excel and accounting software skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word and accounting software QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of Bahraini GAAP is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations such as preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts and maintaining financial records
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments and expenses
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the accounting system
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper recording of financial transactions

As a Junior Accountant you will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of our company by assisting with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, excellent analytical skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
