Job summary

Bank ABC is seeking an Assistant Manager for Loans and Islamic Operations in Bahrain. The role demands oversight of clerical, data administration and control tasks, with responsibilities spanning project delivery, process improvement, and ensuring adherence to bank policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, banking, accounting, business or risk management.
• Professional qualification in business or management (Lean/Six Sigma, ACT, CMI, ICA, etc.).
• Experience with Wholesale and Islamic loan products and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and authorize work to ensure service standards and risk management.
• Support timely delivery of projects within budget and specifications.
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members and back-up coverage as needed.
• Assist in reporting and escalation of irregularities to management and regulators.
