Job summary

NSW Detachment Bahrain seeks an Ordnance Inventory Specialist to oversee ammunition accountability, storage, and transport at Bahrain locations. You will ensure 100% accountability, process issue and receipts, and manage bunker/magazine records.

The role requires experience with Navy ordnance systems, ATR/NARS procedures, and hazardous materials regulations, with SECRET clearance. Audits and compliance checks are routine to support readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct experience with Navy ordnance information systems (OIS).
• Proficiency with AA&E processes and related procedures.
• Familiarity with NAVSUP/OPNAV regulations and related reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee handling, storage, and transportation of ammunition and explosive components.
• Maintain 100% accountability through ordnance documentation and OIS.
• Coordinate schedules for issuing/receiving ammunition and hazardous materials.
