Job summary

Nass Group & Corporation in Bahrain is seeking an Item Master Specialist to lead the creation, governance, and continuous improvement of item master data across ERP systems. You will classify, code, and standardize materials, spare parts, and services to support procurement, inventory, and reporting.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering, and Finance to enforce data governance, resolve duplicates, maintain data quality, and implement policies and KPIs for ongoing master

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of item master data management, supply chain, procurement, inventory control, or related discipline.
• Experience in construction/engineering/manufacturing/project environments preferred.
• ERP systems proficiency (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and data governance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update item master records within the ERP system.
• Review, validate, and process item creation, modification, and deactivation requests.
• Assign and maintain item codes per naming conventions and governance requirements.
• Classify materials, equipment, spare parts, and services using UNSPSC and material groups.
• Verify item descriptions, specs, units of measure, and part numbers for accuracy.
• Identify and eliminate duplicate item records to maintain data integrity.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce item master data policies and governance docs.
• Monitor data quality metrics and conduct master data audits.
