Job summary

Air Arabia Bahrain is seeking a Station Supervisor to support the Airport Manager in daily passenger handling, ramp and check-in operations, and to ensure safety, security, and on-time performance. You will guide staff and coordinate with Flight Operations and MCC to resolve disruptions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in aviation ground handling, relevant certifications, and fluency in English and Arabic. Knowledge of IATA DG regs and DCS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Management/Administration or equivalent; related work experience may substitute.
• IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, Passenger Handling, Ground Operations Procedures trainings or certificates required.
• Cost Control, Compliance, and Quality Assurance certificates trainings are an added value.
• Proficient in Passenger Handling System and Departure Control System (DCS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; good written and verbal communication; fluency in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Airport Manager in monitoring operational and security functions; ensures timely facilitation of daily activities per policy.
• Supervises ramp, check-in, safety, security; reports deviations to Airport Manager.
• Liaises with Airport Manager, Flight Operations, and MCC to handle AOG and disruptions.
• Reports incidents to Airport Manager and Head Office; ensures proper communication channels.
• Ensures DG incidents are reported to authorities and HQ immediately.
• Guides handling staff and ensures efficient passenger service in complex situations.
• Monitors SLAs, negotiates improvements to protect financials and company image.
